Kat Dennings was born Katherine Litwack in Philadelphia on June 13, 1986, (the very same day as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen) to a biochemist father and a speech therapist mother. This is somewhat fitting, since after appearing on one episode of HBO’s Sex in the City, arguably the first big role for Kat Dennings, she was cast alongside the Olsens’ former TV Dad Bob Saget in the short-lived sitcom Raising Dad.
